Tazewell Area-5/22/25
Bus 20 will not run.
Buses 33, 34 and 48 will be picking up the students.


We are aware that a student has made a threat at Graham Intermediate School. Law enforcement officials were contacted and conducted an investigation while a threat assessment was also being exercised. After a thorough investigation, we have determined that there is no credible threat to the school or any of our students.

TCPS will be offering summer meals at Tazewell Middle School and Tazewell High School starting June 9th!

Principal Young recognized the outstanding achievements of the Graham High School Math Competition Team at this week’s school board meeting. This talented group of students recently competed in the 45th Annual Mathematics Contest at Southwest Virginia Community College.
Under the dedicated guidance of their coaches, Ms. Emily Puckett and Mr. David Calfee, 15 middle and high school students represented Graham High School. Of these, an impressive eleven students placed in their respective categories—an accomplishment that led to an overall team victory for Graham High School.

Our JVG Specialist, Mr. Tyler Brooks, recognized his JVG students at this week’s school board meeting who won 9th in the nation at the JAG National Career Development Conference in Indianapolis, Indiana in the Business Plan Competition. Richlands High School’s Drama Club was recognized by the school board for their performance of The Wizard of Oz. They did a fantastic job! 🎉🎭


THS FBLA students were recognized at the school board meeting for their accomplishments. Those in attendance were Abigail Rhudy(left): Journalism-1st place New River Region; Public Speaking- 2nd place New River Region and 1st place State; Ethan Quesenberry(center): Computer Problem Solving-3rd place New River Region; Public Service Announcement -3rd place New River Region and State Qualifier; and Madison Sawyers(right): Electronic Career Portfolio-1st place New River Region and first place State; elected to serve as the New River Region President, and installed as the State Vice-President representing the New River Region at the State Leadership Conference. Congrats! 🎉
