If you’re entering 7th or 12th grade, don’t forget to get your required back-to-school vaccinations! 💉📚 ✅ 12th and 7th graders can visit the Tazewell County Health Department 🏥 for their vaccines 🕗 Monday–Friday, 8 AM to 4 PM ✅ 7th grade vaccination clinics will also be held at each middle school 🏫 on the scheduled days listed below. In an effort to ensure Virginians have access to their benefits as soon as possible, VDSS began mailing SUN Bucks 2025 cards to automatically enrolled households in the first week of July. Please note that your benefits will not become available on SUN Bucks or SNAP EBT cards until July 18, even if you receive a SUN Bucks card in the mail before that date. If you don’t receive your new card by July 18, don’t worry! Benefits will continue to be issued on a rolling basis, so households can expect to receive their SUN Bucks cards at different times.

The Tazewell County School Board recognized all 3 county high school valedictorians and salutatorians at their board meeting last night. Pictured is Tazewell High School's valedictorian, Abigail Jillian Rhudy. The salutatorian this year for THS was Alexis Brooke Conner. Richlands High School's valedictorian was Ella Jayne Altizer. The salutatorian for RHS was Braylee Paige Griffith. Graham High School's valedictorian was Ella Dales and the salutatorian was Bailee Bowman. Congrats to each of these students for their success! 🎉

The 2025 Task Summer Program is accepting applications for Group B only, which will be held on June 23-July 3 at Tazewell Middle School from 8:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. The program is for middle and high school students with an IEP or 504 Plan. Richlands Area: 5/30/25 Bus 6 will not be running this evening. Bus 75 will be bringing those students home.

Bus 15 will not run this evening and will be covered by: 1)Bus 35 Airport Road and Wardell Road to Midway Grocery 2)Bus 77 College Estates and After Midway Grocery to RT 610 3)Bus 97 Four-lane to college, Cumberland, and Industrial Park

Bus 20 will not be running the rest of the school year! Bus 48 will have students who live on Mundytown Road. Bus 34 will have students who live from the entrance of Baptist Valley to Rasnake Road. Bus 33 will have students who live after Rasnake Road.
