
At the December school board meeting, our school board recognized Drake Young (left) for earning 8th place in the 2A State Cross Country Meet and Abigail Rhudy (right) for being named Southwest District Champion in Cross Country, Region 2D Champion in Cross Country, and 2A Cross Country State Champion. A group of Richlands High School students visited VCOM this week!

We are asking all students, faculty, and staff members to wear blue tomorrow in support of World Diabetes Day!


Richlands High School’s History Club supported our veterans through a variety of activities this week such as a Veterans Day program, and through decorating graves.






Richlands High School won $500 in a contest from Woodmen Life Chapter 404. It awarded $500.00 to one winner and the school with the most votes. Congrats, Richlands High School!


Dr. Stacy congratulated Graham High School for receiving the 2024-2025 Virginia Board of Education’s Continuous Improvement Exemplar Award. Principal Young and Assistant Principal Buckner were presented with a certificate at tonight's Board meeting.



Three TCPS teachers attended the Virginia Council of Mathematics Specialists Conference in Charlottesville, V.A.: Kristen Mitchell, Jenifer Smith, and Stephanie Mullins. These teachers will share what they learned along with resources at a future administrators' meeting and conduct professional development with other teachers in the division. They also got to meet Skip Tyler, a national, state, and local presenter on best practices in mathematics instruction.
