THS students got to view the changing of the guard at Buckingham Palace this morning.
Students from Richlands High School have visited many European cities such as London, Paris, Barcelona, and Rome over the past few days.
Graham High School students are having an amazing cultural experience in Spain alongside students from Russell County, Virginia and North Carolina.During the past few days, they have been busy exploring Madrid, Toledo, Granada, and Seville.

These Tazewell High School students checked out Stonehenge today in England!
Some Tazewell High School students had the opportunity to check out the London Eye! It is a cantilevered observation wheel on the south bank of the River Thames in London.
Several of our teachers attending the VDOE Literacy and Mathematics Symposium today at the Higher Education Center in Abingdon. They will bring back the knowledge they learned to our schools!
Some of our wonderful principals and assistant principals attended the VLA Principal and Assistant Principal Training held at the Higher Education at the Higher Education Center in Abingdon, Virginia today. They learned lots of information about evidence-based instruction!

A clinic assistant position is available at Richlands Elem. No nursing license is required. You only need to have CPR/First Aid training. CNA or Med Tech experience is preferred. The position is part-time on M-F from 9-2. Please apply under Human Resources on our website.
THS valedictorian, Jaime Alexander Rizo, was recognized at the school board meeting last night. He will be attending the University of Michigan this fall.
AuBree Wimmer has been chosen to represent THS and the Commonwealth of VA as a delegate at the Congress of Future Medical Leaders in Boston, Massachusetts later this month. She was recognized at last night’s school board meeting.
Emilee Husband was recognized at this month’s school board meeting for her Food Allergy Awareness Campaign. She is a student at GIS.
RHS valedictorian Owen Braden Bales is headed to Harvard University this fall. Last night, he was recognized at the school board meeting.
There will be NO school on Monday, May 27, 2024, in honor of Memorial Day! School will resume on Tuesday, May 28, 2024.
