Back-to-school state-mandated vaccines will be offered by VDH in TCPS for rising 7th and 12th graders in 2024-2025 on April 15, 16 and 19.


Richlands Area:
Bus 5 and bus 65 will not run today. Buses 1, 14, and 64 will be picking up students. Expect a delay!


Ethan Baker gave a speech on autism acceptance at this week’s school board meeting. He received a standing ovation! Thank you, Ethan, for sharing your experiences with us to help others have a better understanding of autism. Ethan’s family is pictured with him below.

TCPS Official Statement:


Due to the timing of the solar eclipse and school dismissal, Tazewell County Public Schools will release students on Monday, April 8, 2024 at 12:00 p.m.

Richlands Area:
No Bus 5!
Bus 1 will take students on Raven Circle and Mill Creek.
Bus 14 will take students on Ball Rd., Reedy Rd., Westmont, and Rodeo Rd.
Bus 64 will take students that live on the four lane from Food City Gas N Go to the last Raven exit.
Bus 65 will take students to Silver Spur and Food City Gas N Go.


There will be no school on Friday, March 29th, Monday, April 1st, or Tuesday, April 2nd. Faculty, staff, and students will return to school on Wednesday, April 3rd. Enjoy your break!


TCCTC masonry students will be selling engraved bricks which will be permanently displayed on the front of the Student Center. If you are interested in purchasing a brick, please contact Mr. Steele at 276-988-2529 ext. 1724. Funds from this fundraiser will help send students to SkillsUSA competitions.
