TCPS will be closed on Tuesday, March 17, 2026.

Bus Changes-Tuesday, March 17, 2026: Bus 1 will pick up Red Root Ridge and Jack’s Creek. Bus 65 will pick up Laramie Road. Bus 30 will pick up Lake Park.

TCPS will operate on a 2-hour delay Tuesday, March 17, 2026.

Parents of rising 7th and 12th graders, please view the flyer below for the dates and locations of our Spring Clinics. The vaccines offered at the clinics are mandatory for public school attendance in Virginia. Required: 7th graders - Tdap booster, 1st dose of MenACWY (meningococcal), and HPV (only one that can be opted out of by parents) 12th graders - 2nd dose of MenACWY (meningococcal) All consent forms should be returned to the schools by April 13th, 2026! Ella-Rae Patton, a sixth grade student at Richlands Middle School, was recognized by legislators at the Virginia State Capitol on March 2, 2026, for her First Place State History Day exhibit on Ida B. Wells.

Bus 42 will not run this evening (3/13/26).
Bus 41 will deliver students on Virginia Ave. from Cotton's Corner to West Graham.
Bus 44 will deliver students on Tazewell Ave.
Bus 57 will deliver students on Shenley Ave.

Bus 64 will not run this evening ( 3/13/26).
Bus 1 will deliver students on Sutherland Branch Road, Jacks Creek, and Red Root Ridge Road.
Bus 30 will deliver students in Lake Park.
Bus 65 will deliver students on Laramie Road.

Friday, March 13, 2026: No Bus 42! Bus 41 will pick up students from West Graham to Cotton's Corner on Virginia Ave. Bus 44 will pick up students on Tazewell Ave. Bus 57 will pick up students on Shenley Ave.

Richlands Area: No Bus 75! Bus 32 will be picking up bus 75 students No Bus 64! Bus 1 will be picking up Red Root Ridge, Jacks Creek, and Sutherland Branch. Bus 65 will be picking up Laramie Road. Bus 30 will be picking up Lake Park. Expect delays!

Bus 33 wil not run today! This morning Bus 20 will pick up Webb's Trailer Park and up to Rasnake Road. Bus 48 will pick up Rasnake Road and Alex Ave. and the trailer park there. Bus 34 will pick up Mundy Town. Expect a 10 to 15 minute delay!

At the March school board meeting, Principal Young recognized members of the DECA club at Graham High School who qualified to travel to Virginia Beach and compete at the state level. Students were led by club sponsors, Ms. Jennifer Collins and Ms. Amy Mitchell, as well as chaperones, Dr. Stephanie Bowers and Mr. Mike Blevins.

Graham High School senior, Sophia Robinson, has been selected as the Virginia 4-H Representative to the National Conference in Arlington, Virginia, this April.
This national event focuses on developing the next generation of leaders by providing opportunities for students to network with fellow 4-H members from across the country and around the world. During the conference, delegates will learn more about the workings of government, explore future career opportunities, and share their perspectives with federal agencies and congressional committees.
Sophia is one of only four students selected to represent the Commonwealth of Virginia at this prestigious national conference. Please join us in congratulating Sophia on this outstanding achievement and wishing her the very best as she proudly represents Graham High School and the Commonwealth of Virginia at the national conference this April.

GHS swimmers were recognized by the Tazewell County School Board last night. The G-Men swimmers were Southwest District Champions, Region 1 & 2 D Champions, and 5th overall at the state competition! This is a remarkable accomplishment for a team of 4! Also, Ivory Mitchell qualified and attended the state competition for the G-Girls!

The RHS students pictured below attended the Senior Beta State Convention and competed in competitions. Keegan Brown, Isabella Lawson, and Chloe Shelton all placed in the top 3 in their competitions and have qualified for the national competitions this June in Nashville.

Mr. Vencill recognized the RHS Scholastic Bowl Teams at yesterday’s school board meeting for being Southwest District regular season and tournament champions! Congrats to these students! 🎉

All 3 high school proms will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2026. Graham High School’s Prom will be held at Fincastle Country Club from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. Their theme will be “Whimsical Garden.” Richlands High School’s prom will be held in the RHS Gymnasium from 8 p.m.- 11 p.m. Their theme will be “Mystery Mansion.” Tazewell High School’s prom will be held in the THS Gymnasium from 7:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. The theme will be “Enchanted Evening.” More information will be forthcoming from all 3 high schools.

Graduation will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2026. Richlands High School’s graduation will start at 10 a.m. Tazewell High School’s graduation will start at 1 p.m. Graham High School’s graduation will be held at 4 p.m.
